Old Photos Must Go

I want everyone to have their photos before the Christmas holidays. We have a number of photos from the last two years still in our studio that we want to get in your hands.

I admit that part of the problem has been finding me at the studio. I apologize to you for that. I want you to mark your calendar for the following dates. You can drop by and go through photos (I will help you of course!) and get what you haven't picked up!

  • Monday, November 22 - 5-7 PM
  • Tuesday, November 23 - 5-7 PM
  • Saturday, November 27 - 8:00 A.M. Until 2:00 P.M.
After these three dates we'll set up another round of dates for you to come by and pick up photos.

You can also order any photos at this time that you haven't ordered in the past. I'm even going to have a special price for sessions to CD.

Again, we want to get these photos in your hands. Call me at (334) 449-3329 if you can't make it these dates and I'll work to get your photos to you!!!

Thanks,
Stephen

Fall School Portraits are Thursday at Mulkey

School Portraits are this Thursday at Mulkey. For those of you interested in knowing what the backdrop looks like, I am posting the photo below. It's our traditional fall photo backdrop for yearbook photos.

We will do our very best to make sure that photos are done perfectly on Thursday to cut down on any need for a makeup photo.

A Few Clothing and Grooming Tips for Fall Portraits
  1. I can't stress enough not to wear a t-shirt!!!!!
  2. Choose solid colors or simple patterns that complement the portrait’s background
  3. Medium to dark shades create a timeless look
  4. Soft shades enhance lighter backgrounds
  5. Avoid shirts with slogans as photo cropping can cut words in half
  6. Long-sleeved shirts are best since short sleeves can be distracting and sleeveless tops can look too casual
  7. Select small accessories that do not detract, such as simple earrings, pins and necklaces
What to Expect on Fall Portrait Day
  1. A teacher or staff member will lead your child to the picture-taking area.
  2. We will greet your child, answer questions, straighten collars and provide combs for quick touch-ups.
  3. We will pose your child with the attention and care that creates a quality portrait.
  4. Your photographs will be delivered to the school approximately three weeks later.
Final Checkoffs
  1. Check your hair and shirt collar at camera time
  2. Practice your smile
  3. Remember good posture
  4. Wear your best colors
  5. Relax and smile at the camera as if it’s your best friend
  6. Be yourself and have fun
